Missions
We are passionate about missions and love partnering with others to serve. Throughout the year, we host mission teams and participate in 1–3 mission trips annually. Our work includes minor construction, ministry, painting, landscaping, home visits, disaster relief, and local outreach. When teams come to serve in our community, they engage in these same efforts—making a meaningful and lasting impact.
Domestic Trips
For the past seven years, we’ve led mission trips to Puerto Rico and look forward to continuing this work each year. Our teams have also served in Connecticut and West Virginia, and we are excited to expand into new locations. If you would like to host a mission team, contact us to begin planning together. Hosting Mission Teams
Petersburg First Baptist Church has partnered with Almost Heaven Hands of Hope to host numerous mission teams throughout the year. We welcome local volunteers to support these teams during their visits and are always looking to host new groups.
